Intensive care and examination rooms:

These are usually the entry points for a critically ill or injured patient. Visual examination plays a significant role for doctors in choosing the right treatment. This demands a lamp with a high general illumination level and good colour rendering.

Patient rooms:

The modern patient room combines comfort and functionality. On the one hand, patients should be made to feel comfortable in the room, and on the other hand. Hospital staff must have an adequate lighting system, giving them an unobstructed view of the patient and any technical equipment. A wall-mounted rail personal luminaire fulfils all of these requirements. It ensures a comfortable, glare-free lighting area that a night light facility can complement. Modern designs reduce dust exposure to a minimum, and smooth covers are easy to clean.

Laboratories and pharmacies:

Laboratories need a carefully designed lighting plan to provide the workspace for demanding sampling and analysis. In addition, regular office work tasks like report writing and communication take place. Recessed clean‐room luminaires provide a good tool for all lab activities. The visually demanding tasks at the laboratory bench require some of the highest recommended light levels in healthcare buildings. The general lighting should have an illumination level of 500 lux for laboratories. But these light levels must be provided from a low-glare and shadow-free light system.

Medical rail clamps
Medical rail clamps are often used for the equipment rail on the wall or bedside panel to attach hospital equipment.
